During the fall of 2009, a select group of men recolonized the Sigma Nu Delta Iota Chapter at Washington State University. Over the last school year and summer, the chapter formed and submitted it's petition for chartering. The petition is a document (in excess of 300 pages) that details the chapter's activities and successes over the last year. On July 3, 2010 the High Council of Sigma Nu approved Delta Iota's Charter thus making it the newest Chapter of Sigma Nu.

Now that the WSU Delta Iota Chapter has regained its charter, the future possibilities are unlimited. Brothers will become initiated members of the Sigma Nu organization and continue to learn and live the values of Love, Truth, and Honor. Through the pursuit of perfecting these values, the men of Sigma Nu will continue to hold themselves to the highest standard in the Greek community at WSU and continue to better the entire campus one day at a time.

The largest event planned for the Fall 2010 semester is the chartering event scheduled for October. However, there is also a brotherhood retreat and several sorority socials including the first annual wedding with this year's winner,  Alpha Phi (whichever sorority wins Delta Iota's "Skin the Snake" philanthropy event attends the wedding). Sigma Nu also plans to have a team in every Intramural sport and a brotherhood nearly every weekend.
